Rohit Sharma gave Indore crowd the perfect Friday evening, putting on a scintillating batting display with a joint-fastest T20I century - off 35 balls - before finishing on 118 in 43 deliveries. It was an innings that propelled India to their highest T20I score as well as the joint second-highest in the format - 260.

118 by Rohit is the highest individual score for India in T20Is, surpassing the unbeaten 110 by KL Rahul against Windies in Lauderhill last year. He became the first Indian player and fifth overall to score two centuries in T20Is after Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Ewin Lewis and Colin Munro.
