ICC World Cup U-19 2018: Complete squads of 16 participating teams

ICC U-19 World Cup 2018 will be the first big global event in cricket and the 16 teams have assembled in New Zealand. The tournament is a stepping stone for future stars. India have sent a strong squad for the big event in which they were runners-up last time in 2016. The Indian squad consists of 15 members and will be captained by Prtihvi Shaw. Shubman Gill, Manjot Kalra and Ishan Porel are other upcoming and exciting talent for India. Similarly, other teams also boost with some of the most talented young cricketers around the world. Australia will be led by Jason Sanga who is said to be an exciting player. Mujeeb Zadran of Afghanistan, Shaheen Afridi of Pakistan, Rachin Ravindra of New Zealand, Joshua Little of Ireland and Kirstan Kallicharan of West Indies will be some names to look forward to in the tournament. Apart from these names, other cricketers can also shine at the global stage through this tournament. This is a perfect platform for youngsters to showcase their talent. But above all, they would like to win the trophy and be crowned as the champions in the junior category. West Indies are the current champions but their defence will be under threat from Australia, India, England and South Africa. Not to forget Afghanistan and Pakistan.
