Shakib, despite taking a break from Tests during Bangladesh's tour of South Africa have managed to play seven Tests, scoring 665 runs in 14 innings. He averages 47.50 in 2017 with a career-high 217 during Bangladesh's tour of New Zealand. The all-rounder lead from the front with a 10-wicket haul against Australia, where the Tigers won a memorable Test match at Dhaka.
Shakib also slotted in at number 7 position in Cricket.com.au's T20 XI. He played in 29 T20 matches and scored 447 runs and grabbing 37 wickets.
Mushfiqur played in eight Tests and scored an impressive 776 runs at an average of 54.71. His best innings of 159 also came against New Zealand where he was involved in a 359-run record-breaking partnership with Shakib.
